Is your house clean and tidy?

Last Saturday, I went to church in the evening. When I returned home late, I found my mom cleaning the house. She had already cleaned many places. Wow! Now, the house looked clean and beautiful.
When the lights had been turned off for sleep, my eyes were wide open for I was thinking of what my mom did all alone. Being her daughter and knowing that she was alone, I hadn't helped her. I was overcome with a guilt :(

I, then made plans to clean my home as far as I could before christmas. The month of december would be the time for carols. So I should probably finish cleaning and tidying at least for Christmas' sake.
Christmas!! December 25 is a very special day-The Birthday of Jesus Christ. Jesus is going to be born and I’m tidying my house for Him! As these thoughts were crossing my mind, something else turned on.  The way we clean our house for the birth of Jesus, so should we clean our hearts for Jesus to be born in our heart.
Friends! This is very true. The joy of Christmas is not in buying new clothes, preparing special meals, desserts, meeting friends, relatives or any other kind of partying. The real Christmas is for Jesus to be born in our hearts and that our heart is filled with all the goodness of Jesus-His love, spirit and all goodness. Our hearts, not just our house, should be clean and ready for Jesus
Hope you will remember these things for this Christmas and every time you clean your house!
