Complete blessing?

     God blesses us in many ways. We love to get the blessings of God. But friends, remember one thing which is very true...

If you want to get the complete blessing from Our generous Lord Jesus in your life, then you must do something.

     That is 

'Obedience to the word of God'

How do we know what God wants from us?

     Its simple. The word of God is already in our hands! Confused?

     Bible is the 'word of God'. Read the word, meditate on the word and God will speak with you. Now start obeying His word as it is. That's it! 

               

     On Thursday i.e., 21.07.2011, I planned to collect few materials from college (mark sheets, provisional and Transfer certificate). God clearly instructed me the things that I should do. He clearly defined to me the purpose and the things I had to do and also the things that I shouldn’t do.

     Friends, God knows what would happen ahead of time in any situation. So, when we want to do things by the perfect will of God, He instructs us what exactly we must do and also warns us of the things we ought not to do.

                So..this was what happened with me. God instructed me and warned me. Friends, you should also know one thing. I prayed several times for the Thursday plan to God because I feared I would go astray from His will.

                And when I was finally in my institution, the Holy Spirit of God told me what I must do then. But I gave way for my flesh to overrule i.e., I did things that pleased me…I did things according to my will. So, I couldn’t do what God instructed me to. I had to deliver a message that God had for my prayer team. But I lost time to do it. I felt a wave of guilt pass over me from that second. I confessed my disobedience to God and I was deeply troubled.

                You know what happened? When I was finally to get my materials, there it was! An error! An error in my Transfer certificate. Ah! God allowed an error in my Certificate and made me go again to my institution to deliver the message that God had for my prayer team.

                I never frowned that I had to travel again. In fact, I was happy that God gave me a chance to go back. I thank God! If it had not been for that error, I would have not gone back. God’s ways are indeed so amazing and wonderful!! Praise you Jesus..

                Friends..obedience to God is very important. Just think..how much longer will God be patient.

What does Bible say about obedience?

In the book of John 14 : 23 – 24 NIV

'Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.'

 'He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.'


Lord Jesus was successful in all that He did. Just read the first four books of the New Testament in 'The Holy Bible' (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). So what was the secret behind?

In the book of Hebrew 5 : 8 – 9 NIV

'Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered'

'and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.'    

Even Lord Jesus Christ obeyed His father in heaven and His parents on Earth while He was still in this world. So why not you?
