3 Amazing Miracles of today!!

Miracles
I actually closed my eyes to sleep but then remembered today's miracle that I couldn't wait to share!
..so yesterday, I forgot my identity card to college and was fined quite a big sum. Then when I came home, I got upset and all other things..blah..blah..skipped dinner, then breakfast, then lunch!!

Okay..coming to the point...when I walked towards the mail building of my college, my face was downcast cos I just remembered certain things- Number one was that I had again forgot the identity card. I was calculating the reaction from the 'in-charge' madam, the expenditure (or whatever it is..) etc.. Number two was that I did not do a certain homework which I was damn supposed to do at least to escape the harsh words from my professor..oh my God! You know what..I'm so scared of him to the extent of even crossing him or looking at his face!! ..and Number 3 was that of one of my subject papers that I had recently written a test on. I was dead sure I'd fail..Getting a fail doesn't matter cos it was my mistake and all I needed to do was not to sit n cry but just to concentrate more on that subject. What really mattered was the professor again!! He was secondary to the one I was too scared of. My face showed no expression as I kept walking towards the building.

I mumbled a few words as I took the next few steps, "My worst day....!" Then again, " God.. I know you have abandoned me..its my mistake anyways..I know we both are not together..you've given me the best punishment.."

She was there! Yes..the madam in charge of fining students..LOL!! When I kept moving forward, my friend motioned to me and I just found her talking with one of her colleagues..I so very casually crossed her!
Number 1 huddle tackled!!

It was my homework..The moment I entered class, I started copying the homework so did the rest of my class! To my amazement, nobody got their answers completely..Since nobody could get their answers, the homework was dropped. Number 2 tackled!!

The second hour after lunch was my Number 3 problem. The professor brought our test papers. I felt my heart skip a beat. I sat idle cos I didn't know whether to cry or whatever! His very first words for our class were, "Your performance is very poor compared to your previous tests.." I started sweating all over.

He pulled out a paper. The very first student was remarked to have poorly performed in short answers. He called out the next name. That was me! My face went nervous. He said 'no word' but handed over my paper. I quickly went to my seat and turned it over only to find a very good mark! Amazing yaar..just amazing!! A miracle!! All my friends I knew as bright students had scored low marks. What more can I say!! I was forced to believe this..

Sometimes its really difficult to understand our loving God who hugs us and says, " Fear not..for I am with you!!" while everyone else hurt us and wound our hearts.

So..lately God has been helping me through 'what man canNOT'!! Jesus is always a wonder and this is proved only in this areas...OuTsTaNdInG mIrAcLeS!! Jesus miracles are those 'beyond natural powers' :) :)

This is it..I was so afraid of one kind of illness that I was very sure of facing it. Of course, whenever I'm afraid, I'd turn to God! I did that..and 'what was sure supposed to happen' did not!! Praise the Lord! :)

Today was something terrible! My department staffs were checking if we had brought mobile phones to class. Well I never take it to class because I know the rules! But.......I had my friend's battery with me that she had given to me for charging :( :-( Many many phones were seized! I just did a two-second prayer before anyone could check on me. God always does great wonders right! My staffs checked all nook and corners but missed the very simple place I had kept the battery :-) :) Thank you Jesus :-):) Oh how sweet are your deeds :) ..and of course friends..there was a very big..a big problem for the ones whose phones were seized..Thank God! Great escape!!

..I have many many many many.....more beauties to tell :-) but I've only shared what happened today..or I should say 'two' of what happened today :-) :) I'll share it very soon! God bless!! :-)

Which is better: a temper or calm nature??

Today's Message at Church

The Blessing Of Naphtali!
(Sunday, 16 October, 2011)

I greet you all in the precious name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on this beautiful Sabbath!!
Hope you feel blessed! There is one more beautiful blessing that comes through a unique quality which we are now going to see.
Can you recall about a character called ‘Naphtali’ in the Bible? Well and good if you do J and there isn’t a problem if you don’t!
Naphtali  was the third child of the 12 children born to Jacob, the grandson of Abraham. In Genesis 49:21, the Bible talks about the blessing that Jacob, father of Naphtali, pronounced on Naphtali.
“Naphtali is a deer that runs free, who bears lovely fawns.”
How beautiful the blessing is!! He is compared with a she-deer. What does it mean? A she-deer is very graceful and gentle possessing the characters of patience, kindness etc., which can be said as ‘good characters’. So Naphtali possessed these beautiful characters and was unique from his brothers. Also behind these amazing characters, we can see that he should have had a good relationship with God through his prayerfulness.
So dear friends J it’s good that you have accepted Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior…it’s good that you have been baptized both by water and fire…it’s good that you’ve received the Holy Spirit..yes of course it’s good that you speak in strange tongues..it’s good that you pray and shake your church filled in Spirit….but……the one most important question is “do you possess these beautiful characters of patience…peace…kindness…as possessed by Naphtali?”
Analyze for a moment! Also what about your prayer life?
My dear friends, Jesus prayed.
Remember that  Jesus was the son of the one and only Holy God. But when He was in this world, he lead an example of how we should live. All the time He was teaching about the ‘holy word of God’ and when he wasn’t with his disciples, He was found praying along.
Strive to spend more time with God. This was the secret of Jesus J He did not waste a single moment.
If you follow the two important facts discussed here, this is the blessing you will receive J
“About the tribe of Naphtali he said, ‘Naphtali is richly blessed by the Lord’s good favour;  Their land reaches to the south from Lake Galilee.” –Deuteronomy 33:23
By implementing these in your practical life, you can be a witness of Jesus to people around you!

Knowledge about Jesus!

"God wants to see us as we know Him"
Message by Pastor.Moses Rajasekar
(Second Sunday,14th Aug'11)

Knowledge of Bible is important but bringing the knowledge into practice is 'more important'.

Luke 24:13 onwards talks about two disciples of Jesus Christ returning to their home town called 'Emmaus'. This incident takes place after the death of Jesus. To be particular, this incident takes place on the third day after the death of Jesus.

Luke 24:14 :- And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.

Many Christians are just like these two disciples of Emmaus. That is, when times of persecution comes, they go back to their old lives, just as these disciples headed back to their home town.

There is but one thing: Even if we forget Jesus..even if we lack gratitude..Jesus never forgets us!

     Luke 24:14-16:-
14And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

15And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

16But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.

Many times we do not realize Our dear loving Lord Jesus walking along with us in our lives. Though we do not recognize Jesus walking along with us..though our eyes are holden, He still walks with us.

Many a time, we get sad and depressed thinking God has left us to strive alone..to face the hardships alone..or sometimes we even think that Jesus has hated us and gone away. But NO! Jesus never walks away from us that easily. Though we forget Him, He never does. He cares for us more than a mother does and carries us more than a father.

What is more important in this context?
     Luke 24:17-27:-
17And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

18And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

19And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

20And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

21But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

 22Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

23And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

24And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

25Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

As we see in the above Scripture, the disciples added Jesus in their conversation. Now all three of them are conversing together. When this happens, Jesus begins to explain to them very clearly about Christ's resurrection already mentioned in the HOLY BIBLE.

Look at verse 25 in the above passage. Jesus says, ' O fools, and slow of heart..' Yes...many times we become that ourselves. We become slow of hearts so that we would not be able to grasp and understand the will of God in us or things happening under the power of God.
We must draw Jesus in our hearts so that the slowness of heart gets away from us.

When the disciples start listening to Jesus, they knew in their heart that He was not some kind of ordinary man but was a man of great knowledge regarding the scripture (HOLY BIBLE). They had developed a kind of respect for Him.

      Luke 24:28, 29:-
28And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

29But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

Till now their eyes weren't opened so that they could see that it was Jesus with whom they were conversing all this time. When they reached home, they prepared bread from the flour.

     Luke 24:30, 31:-
30And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

31And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Read the above two verses carefully. Jesus is a guest to their home. So it must be the disciples who should break the bread! But here, they gave the bread to Jesus so that He would bless it and break it Himself. So as we see..the disciples have realized something out of 'this stranger' whom they met on their way to town.

When Jesus broke the bread, their eyes were opened. Now, look at the below verse.
     Luke 24:32:-
32And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

33And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together...

Summary:~
We are all like these 'little children' to Jesus
  •      Jesus never leaves us.
  •      Jesus always walks with us. He is always there by our    side.
  •      We must not forget to include Jesus in our conversation (general/ personal).
  •      We must listen (not hear) to what Jesus says.
  •      We must invite Him in our house (our lives).
  •      We must give Him the first priority
God Bless You :)
